Jewelry Care
Our pieces are made for everyday wear, we mainly use the following materials: 18k solid gold for the Fine Jewelery Collection and 24k gold-plated bronze, 9.25 Sterling Silver for the Contemporary Collections. We wanted to share with you a few tips to maintain your jewerly looking brand new.
NATURAL WEAR & TEAR CLEANING
Gold
Although gold fill jewelry should not tarnish, it will get dirty, scratched, and dulled over time. The easiest way to clean your gold-filled pieces is to soak for a few minutes in hot, soapy water, scrub it with a soft toothbrush and a bit of dish soap. Rinse well, pat dry and air dry.
Sterling Silver
Silver jewelry is prone to tarnishing, and everyone's skin reacts differently to the material, causing some people's silver pieces to patina faster than others. Sterling Silver is H2O sensitive. Avoid water when wearing your piece because sterling silver will oxidize over time.
Gold-plated Bronze
Clean your piece by buffing gently with a dry cloth, this would help you to maintain its color and original brightness.
STORING YOUR JEWELRY
When not in use, store your jewelry in a cool and dry place; preferably in its gift box or in an air-tight jewelry box.
CHEMICALS & EVERYDAY IRRITANTS
Substances that are likely to accumulate on or around rings, earrings and necklaces include shampoo, sunscreen, make-up, dust, soap residue and hairspray. Common chemicals such as bleach, chlorine, furniture polish, cleaners, and more can cause major damage to any type of jewelry, especially gold.
Avoid direct contact with body lotions, cosmetics, perfumes or other chemicals.
We advise removing your jewelry before swimming, bathing, showering or exercising.
GEMSTONES
We use genuine precious gemstones and they have the potential to chip if not taken care of properly or dropped onto a hard surface. To keep gemstones clean and shiny, use warm soapy water and a soft brush. Avoid chemicals or excessive temperatures when cleaning.
